Having found its spiritual home at The Brickhouse in east London Stilnovo Sessions will embody record label Stilnovo Music’s ideology in live form.

Launching on Friday 18th June 2010 Stilnovo Sessions will showcase their record labels talent.

Supplying the beats to move your feet Atjazz is an artist who needs no introduction to quality electronic and downtempo music connoisseurs. Known to many for his superb releases over the years, and for being one not afraid to experiment with sounds without ever compromising on quality, Atjazz has carved a unique place for himself, as well as the strongest respect from renowned producers and DJs the world over.

Founder of Stilnovo Music, Eleonora is a busy entrepreneur by day, and an eclectic DJ by night. She can be seen playing at popular venues like Fabric and Pacha, as well as many an exclusive VIP members club. On the road she has shared the decks with legendary artists like King Britt and Francesco Farfa. On the airwaves, she regularly works with London/Tokyo station Samurai FM and M2o in Italy.

Deep and Soulful house pioneer from Dallas, Texas, Demarkus Lewis has over a hundred releases under his belt, including collaborations with Robert Owens and Timmy Vegas.

Stilnovo the main word representing the world’s best in House from Electronic to Soulful to Chillout and Tech House, all delivered in the upmost of style.

It’s looking good for the months ahead as we prepare for the release of new singles from 6pod9 and Sona.
Madrid based producer 6pod9 might be known for his amazing samples collections for popular companies such as Loopmasters, Zero-g, SoundstoSample and Samplemagic – no wonder his productions skills are truly remarkable.
His first single for Stilnovo is a real Deep House beauty. With hints of Tech and Minimal, and a beatiuful melody to boot, this track is going to make waves.
We are now deciding who is going to be on the remix duty for “Aire” (the name of the track) so stay tuned…

The other new single comes from our Taiwan favourite, Sona. Already having received great feedback for his remix of Rogiers and Bilal “Hollywood Story” (STIL001), we knew we would have been up for more! “Lost Causes” is a beautifully textured Deep House track, with Soulful sounds that only a classically trained musician like Sona could pull off! Eleonora Cutaia and Stilnovo Music are proud to present the label’s first release. “Hollywood Story” is a classic R&B song from the very talented US artist Rogiers, turned it into a House anthem! The track features Bilal Oliver on vocals and these remixes are already making serious waves.
The first mix sees The Leech (AKA Demarkus Lewis) and Poussez’ very own Maxime Cescau on the production duties. An infectuos deep and tech house track that doesn’t take the soul out of the equation.
The second mix comes from Taiwan’s rising star Sona (productions and remixes featured on respected outlets such as OM Records, MTV and winner of Pete Tong’s Fast Trax).

What is Stilnovo?

From Wikipedia:
“Dolce Stil Novo” (Italian for “sweet new style”, modern Italian nuovo) is the name given to the most important literary movement of 13th century in Italy.
Its main theme are love, noblemindedness, beauty and introspection. The name Dolce Stil Novo was used for the first time by Dante Alighieri in the popular “Divina Commedia”.

I chose the word Stilnovo to represent a positive “new style” for music. My goal is to roam the corners of the world for something stylish and innovative to share with you.
There will be no barriers, however, my main focuses will remain on my favourite genres which span from Electronic to Soulful to Chillout to House and Techno.
